The Indiana Jammers are a non for profit travel basketball team. The program was started in 1994. This team was started to teach young players of the community the fundamentals of basketball and to use these tools in a competitive game situation. At this time, the organization has been limited to only boys.

The Terre Haute Jammers were started by Brad Miley. Coach Miley emphasized basketball fundamentals which included ball handling, offensive power moves and defense.

Goals and Objectives

The intent of the Jammers is to provide a competitive basketball experience to a travel team. With one goal in mind to help these young men extend their basketball careers while helping them further their education. Not only do the Jammers strive to help players extend their basketball careers, but they also strive to further help players continue their athletic career in their sport of choice.

The Jammers Today

Today, Coach Miley has handed the program/coaching duties to his oldest son, Josh, who will coach the Class of 2023 and 2024 as he continues to develop basketball skills of children of the Wabash Valley.

Former Players

As previously stated, the overall goal of the Jammers is to help young men extend their athletic careers while helping them further their education. Many Jammers have continued to play basketball at the collegiate level/professionally, but even more players have continued on in their sport of choice. Alum Jammers have stated that the discipline, the work ethic and the sportsmanship learned from their Jammer experience carried over to other sports and affected their lives.
